I mean real relationships with people who can open doors, share knowledge, and help you grow.

I know, it sounds basic.
But I promise you → it’s EVERYTHING.

Every single big win I had came from relationships.

My first big deal? Came from someone I met at a networking event.

Raising capital? Investors said yes because they trusted me.

Partnerships? Built through conversations and relationships. Not cold pitches.

Your net worth really does grow with your network.

You get a connection!

How to Start Networking Without Feeling Weird

Networking isn’t about being salesy or collecting contacts.

It’s about:

→ Being curious. Ask people about them first.
→ Sharing your story. Let them know who you are & what you’re working toward.
→ Following up. Send that “great meeting you” text or DM. (Most people don’t.)
→ Offering value. Even if you’re new, you can connect people, share resources, or support their goals.

You don’t need an invitation only club to start meeting the right people.

In-person:

  • Meetup.com – Search for local real estate, investing, or business groups.

  • Eventbrite – Tons of free & paid networking events by industry.

  • BiggerPockets Meetups – If you’re into real estate, these are gold.

  • Local Chamber of Commerce – Business mixers and industry-specific meetups.

  • Conferences & Summits – Like Grant Cardone’s events, real estate expos, or wealth-building summits.

Online:

  • LinkedIn – Search “networking event” + your industry and city.

  • Facebook Groups – Many host free virtual mixers & webinars.

  • Instagram – Follow industry influencers & watch for event collabs.

Networking Game Plan for This Week

  1. Find 1 event in your city or online. (Even if it’s virtual!)

  2. Introduce yourself to 3 new people. No pitching—just get to know them.

  3. Follow up within 48 hours. Quick text, DM, or email: “Great meeting you! Would love to stay connected.”

    Simple and effective.

Here’s the truth:

Deals don’t live on Zillow. They live in conversations.

Make it your mission to be in more rooms.

Get on more calls with the people who can help you level up.
