Millionaire Money Moves Start With This
Where every dollar goes, your future follows
Hey Bestieee,
Let’s cut straight to it.
If you don’t know where your money is going it’s probably not going where you want.
It’s easy to say:
“This is the year I get my money right.”
But let me ask you this:
💡 Can you actually tell me where your money went last month?
Because if you can’t track it, you can’t grow it. Period.

Tracking your money isn’t budgeting, it’s IDENTITY work.
Most people think “budgeting” means restrictions.
But what I’ve learned on this wealth journey is that:
🧠 Tracking = Awareness
🧠 Awareness = Confidence
🧠 Confidence = Control
And control is where the real wealth building starts.
Here’s what tracking looks like for me in real life:
This isn’t a hypothetical list.
This is literally what I do (or what Anan, my CFO, is yelling at me to do 😂)
📲 Monarch
My go to dashboard for my net worth, spending, and spending triggers.
I get alerts when I go over in certain categories.
This helps me so I never lie to myself about how the money’s moving.
→ It also gives me a beautiful visual layout so I know exactly what I’m working with.
Bonus: Monarch’s where I track my lifestyle leaks and do weekly reviews.
💸 Rocket Money
We LOVE this one for spotting sneaky charges.
Subscriptions, auto-renewals, random fees? Cancelled. Gone. Bye.
Just last month I saved $$$ on stuff I literally forgot I was paying for.
💼 QuickBooks
This is where the business money lives.
Even though Anan has it locked in, I still check it to see:
→ IRL (Real time) cash flow
→ Payments received
→ Business expenses
Just a founder girlie with some financial literacy :)
🗂️ Google Sheets / Excel Everything
Yes, we’re still spreadsheet girlies.
From:
→ SOWs (scope of work)
→ Wire transfers
→ Bills due
→ “Britt Budget” 💁🏽♀️ (yes, it exists)
→ Forecasting
→ Investor capital
The list can go on.
We literally got a sheet for every dollar in this empire in the making we’re building.
💰 Our Profit System
Instead of spending first and hoping there’s profit left… we allocate first:
→ Profit
→ Team (Because Leaders Eat Last — read this book if you’re team building)
→ Taxes
→ Ops
→ Owner’s Pay
It flipped my entire approach to cash flow.
📆 Financial Fridays
This is our non-negotiable.
Me + Anan check in every single week. Sometimes over lunch, a Zoom, but often FaceTime.
We look at:
→ What came in
→ What went out
→ What’s coming next
Money dates are cute. But they’re also necessary. 💅🏽
👀 How to Start: Find Your Leaks
🧾 Look at your last 30 days of transactions (to start)
Categorize:
→ Essentials
→ Lifestyle
→ Recurring
→ Regret purchases 😩
Then ask:
→ Was this aligned with the life I’m building?
→ Would I spend this again?
→ Did this move me closer to or further from my goals?
This isn’t about guilt.
It’s about clarity and calling yourself out if you need to.

🎯 Your Action Plan This Week:
✅ Download Monarch or Rocket Money
✅ Schedule a Financial Friday check-in. Solo or with your money bestie
✅ Audit your subscriptions + leaks
✅ Track every expense in a sheet or app
✅ DM me “template” if you want the sheets we use 👀
💭 Before You Swipe To The Next Email, Please REMEMBER
You don’t need to be a money expert.
You don’t need to be perfect.
But you DO need to stop winging it.
Your next level doesn’t require more hustle.
It requires more honesty with yourself.
The way we track our money determines how we trust ourselves with it.
So bestie, let’s stop playing small with our money habits.
If you want to build like a millionaire, you’ve got to move like one.
👀 Next Week: Build Your Personal Financial System
→ I’ll show you exactly how my accounts are structured
→ The buckets we use
→ And how to automate your finances like a boss
This is our year, bestie.
We’re not just “getting our money right.”
We’re building wealth in real time TOGETHER.
xoxo,
Brittany Bell – your investor bestie 💼
P.S. Forward this to someone who needs to finally stop playing broke when they’re meant to build an empire. Let’s get rich together.
